Hayaghat Election Result: The Hayaghat Assembly constituency (AC-84) is a key General seat situated in the Darbhanga district of Bihar. It is known for its diverse political landscape and competitive contests and falls within the Darbhanga Lok Sabha constituency. The current representative is the incumbent MLA Ram Chandra Prasad of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Prasad secured his victory in the closely fought 2020 assembly elections. In the 2015 elections, Amar Nath Gami of the Janata Dal (United) secured the seat for a second consecutive term. He won with 65,677 votes (53.3%). The runner-up was Ramesh Choudhary of the LJNSP, who secured approximately 32,446 votes (26.3%). Gami won by a substantial margin of 33,231 votes.

Winner Ram Chandra Prasad, representing the BJP, won the Hayaghat MLA seat in the 2020 elections against the RJD’s Bhola Yadav. He won with approximately 67,030 votes. His rival, Bhola Yadav, secured around 56,778 votes.
