Gurua Election Result: With the results now declared, Upendra Prasad of the Bharatiya Janata Party has secured a commanding victory in Gurua, winning 99,758 votes with a decisive margin of 24,194 votes. Located in the Tekari subdivision of Bihar’s Gaya district, Gurua is one of the region’s 24 administrative blocks. Historically linked to the ancient Magadh Empire, it shares close proximity with culturally significant sites such as Gaya and Bodh Gaya.
The verdict not only reinforces the constituency’s electoral preference but also adds fresh context to Gurua’s evolving political narrative.

He defeated his nearest rival, Shakeel Ahmad Khan of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), by a margin of 5,640 votes. Ramchandra Prasad Singh secured 39,267 votes.
