Gaya Town Election Result: With the results now declared, Prem Kumar of the Bharatiya Janata Party has secured a decisive victory in Gaya Town, winning 90,878 votes and leading by an impressive margin of 26,423 votes. Gaya city, the administrative centre of Gaya district and the Magadh division, sits about 116 kilometres south of Bihar’s capital, Patna. As Bihar’s second-largest city, Gaya is uniquely framed by rocky hills on three sides, with the Phalgu River flowing gracefully along its eastern boundary.
The verdict not only seals a significant win for the BJP but also adds a fresh chapter to Gaya Town’s evolving political landscape.

He defeated his nearest rival, Mohammad Akram Siddique of the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) party, by a margin of 49,157 votes. Prem Kumar received 109,306 votes, while Mohammad Akram Siddique received 60,149 votes. The Indian National Congress candidate, Mohan Srivastava, came in third.
