According to the Election Commission of India, polling for Bihar Assembly Election 2025 will be held in two phases. While the first phase voting is scheduled for 6 November 2025, the second phase will be held on 11 November 2025. The counting of votes and declaration of results for all seats including Daraunda shall be done on 14 November 2025.

Daraunda Bihar Election Result 2020

Karnjeet Singh Alias Vyas Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Daraunda Assembly seat in the 2020 election, defeating Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation (CPI(ML)(L)) candidate Amarnath Yadav by a margin of about 11,320 votes. Karnjeet Singh secured approximately 44.09% of the vote share.
