Bihar Election 2025, Full list of Winner Candidates
LJPRV Full List of Winner Candidates 2025: The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), or LJP (RV), is a Bihar-based political party and an important ally in the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The party holds considerable influence in the state, particularly among Dalit communities, with strong support from the Paswan caste.
LJP (RV) is led by its founder and National President Chirag Paswan, a two-term MP from Hajipur. He is the son of late Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, a towering national figure who played a key role in multiple governments. LJP (RV)'s journey is rooted in the developments surrounding the original Lok Janshakti Party (LJP).
Ram Vilas Paswan formed the original LJP in 2000 after parting ways with JD(U). Over the years, it emerged as a significant force in Bihar, strategically aligning with different coalitions and frequently influencing state politics.
The party took shape following a dramatic split in the original Lok Janshakti Party in 2021, after which the Election Commission allotted Chirag’s faction the “Helicopter” symbol and recognised Pashupati Kumar Paras’s group as the RLJP with the “Sewing Machine” symbol.
LJP (RV) has since consolidated its ground, delivering a clean sweep in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by winning all five seats it contested. The party continues to play a significant role in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, where its candidates are performing strongly as counting progresses.
