Belaganj is a block-level town in Bihar’s Gaya district, situated in the Magadh region. Located about 25 kilometres southwest of Gaya city, it lies near the Falgu River. Bodh Gaya is roughly 40 km away, while the state capital, Patna, is around 100 km from here. The fertile Gangetic plains make agriculture the backbone of Belaganj’s economy.
