Bahadurpur is the number 85 General category seat and it comes under Darbhanga district. It is one of the six assembly segments that comprises the Darbhanga (General) Lok Sabha constituency. Since Bahadurpur constituency’s formation, it has seen some nail-biting electoral battles. For quite some time now, JD(United) and RJD have emerged as the two main contenders in Bahadurpur. A JD(United) representative holds the seat at present, who regained it in the keenly contested 2020 Assembly election. The most active political parties in the constituency are the BJP, JD(United), and RJD.
