Aurangabad, located in the southern part of Bihar within the Magadh region, functions as a key administrative block in the Aurangabad district. Positioned about 24 kilometres south of the district headquarters, it is bordered by towns such as Nabinagar, Deo, Hariharganj, Hussainabad, and Dehri-on-Sone.
