Alamnagar Election Result: Alamnagar Assembly constituency went to the polls as part of the first phase of the Bihar Legislative Assembly Elections 2025. Counting will take place on November 14 with Narendra Narayan Yadav, favoured to win the elections. He has been the dominant winner in the constituency, winning five consecutive elections since his first win in 1995.

Narendra Narayan Yadav of Janata Dal (United) won the Alamanagar seat by receiving 1,38,401 votes. He defeated the runner-up, Nabin Kumar of Vikassheel Insaan Party by a 55,465 vote margin.

Narendra Narayan Yadav of the Janata Dal (United) JD(U) won the Alamnagar seat in the 2010 Bihar assembly elections. He comfortably secured a win against several candidates by securing 64,967 votes. The runner-up from the Alamnagar constituency was Lovely Anand, who was trailing Yadav by a 42,345 vote margin.
In the 2015 elections, Narendra Narayan Yadav secured another term as the Alamnagar MLA as a representative of JD(U). He secured a dominant win against several candidates by gaining the confidence of 87,962 voters. During these elections, Chandan Singh (LJP) came out as the second biggest candidate in the constituency with 44,086 votes. He lost to Yadav by a margin of 43,876 votes.

Although not by the same margin as the previous two terms, Yadav's rival−Nabin Kumar (RJD), was trailing by 28,680 votes. This was his sixth consecutive win from the Alamnagar constituency. His history of dominant wins in the region, which started in 1995, has remained unbroken as of 2025.
In the 2025 elections, the total voter turnout in phase one was 64.66% voter turnout rate, the highest to date. The record was broken again a few days later in phase 2 of the elections with a 68.76% voter turnout.
In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Narendra Narayan Yadav secured his sixth term as the winning candidate from Alamanagar with 102,517 votes, accounting for 48.17% of the total voter base. The runner-up in the elections was Nabin Kumar (RJD), who lost to Yadav by a margin of 28,680 votes.
