Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met with the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Dipankar Bhattacharya on Wednesday in Delhi.

Earlier on Monday, Kumar came to the national capital to work for Opposition unity for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Bihar CM Kumar has met leaders of several parties in the country ever since he arrived in the national capital.

Meanwhile, on Monday CM Kumar met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and then met Samajwadi Party leaders Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav, Communist Party of India (Marxist) general secretary Sitaram Yechury, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Indian National Lok Dal leader Om Prakash Chautala.

“It is necessary that the opposition parties come together. There is no better face (of Opposition) than Nitish Kumar,” Sharad Yadav said.

Moreover, in August Nitish Kumar broke the alliance with the BJP and formed the government with RJD.

However, Nitish Kumar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav visited Telangana and met Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao.
