In an explosion that took place in a home on Saturday in the Babarganj neighbourhood of the Bhagalpur district, a 17-year-old boy was killed and three other people were hurt, according to the police.
The explosion, according to the police, occurred at approximately 5:30 pm inside a two-story building situated in the Hussainabad Quareshi neighbourhood, inside the jurisdiction of the Babarganj police station.
Although early reports claimed that a cylinder blast was to blame for the explosion, the precise cause of the catastrophe is still unknown. The explosion led to the collapse of a piece of Mohammad Abdul Gani’s home, sparking a fire.
The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) team arrived at the scene to look into the explosion that happened on Saturday night.
The ATS crew visited the area on Sunday morning and questioned locals there. Qureshi Mistry Tola in Hussainabad saw a significant explosion on Saturday.
This explosion caused damage to numerous nearby homes while razing one to the ground. Three people were hurt in addition to the teen who passed away in this disaster. The ATS team has also assembled in order to look into the explosion at the same time.

Similar to the Kajwalichak event from the previous year, a massive explosion occurred at around 5 p.m. on Saturday in Qureshi Tola, Hussainabad. This explosion’s echoes may be heard for miles. Local resident Abdul Ghani’s home was completely destroyed in this incident. In this accident, his kid also perished.

The gunpowder or chemical was used in the bomb that exploded. This will be revealed only after the report of FSL and ATS, although the officials and personnel of ATS have refused to comment on the incident, but it was clear from the conversation among the team members that due to the blast of many bombs or explosives together or due to the incident, the whole house collapsed. The ATS team suspects that the bomb was buried under the ground, which took a more menacing form when it exploded.The CID and Bhagalpur police team that reached the spot tried to talk to the people around it, but no one from the area told anything about the incident, all were seen to be keeping distance from the matter.
