Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda said Haryana is the state where Hari, or God himself came. Hooda had arrived in Salasar today to inaugurate the newly constructed Dharamshala.
“Lord Shri Krishna preached Geeta in the religious city of Kurukshetra in Haryana. Lord Ram has been remembered in the culture and dialogue of Haryana since the beginning. Here children are taught to say ‘Ram-Ram,’ before saying Namaste, Good Morning and Good Evening. Therefore, religious beliefs and reverence for Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna are in the DNA of Haryana,” he said.

A large number of devotees from Haryana reach Salasar Dham every day. Dharamshala has been constructed for their stay, accommodation and food arrangements. Hooda praised and expressed gratitude to all the donors and Dharamshala operators for this work. On this occasion, he offered prayers before Lord Balaji and prayed for the happiness, prosperity, progress of the country and the state.

In response to the question asked by journalists regarding Ram temple, Hooda said that Lord Ram belongs to everyone. “It is unfair and impossible to limit them to any party or ideology. Respect for everyone’s faith and religious beliefs are the values of our country. Our faith in Lord Shri Ram is unwavering and the entire world is the beneficiary of Lord’s glory,” he said.
