India News’ news confirmed: Bhagirath Chaudhary’s appointment as minister was highlighted in the June 7 issue.
The surprising result outcome had brought hopes for many leaders and winners. But in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 3.0 government, Rajasthan witnessed no major changes in the cabinet lineup. However, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje was once again left disappointed. Raje had high hopes of her son, Dushyant Singh, being appointed as a minister this time. Although she attended the swearing-in ceremony, her expectations were not met. Raje was very confident about her son Dushyant Singh being made a minister this time. However, she was present in the swearing-in ceremony. By making Bhagirath Chaudhary from Rajasthan a minister in place of Kailash Chaudhary, the party has fulfilled the quota of the Jat community. Kailash had lost the Lok Sabha election from Barmer this time.
Instead, the party opted to replace Kailash Chaudhary with Bhagirath Chaudhary from Rajasthan to fulfill the quota of representation for the Jat community. Kailash Chaudhary had lost the Lok Sabha election from Barmer this time.
Let us tell you that India News had first published the news of Bhagirath Chaudhary being made a minister on June 7 itself. Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi has again expressed trust in old faces Arjun Ram Meghwal, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Bhupendra Singh Yadav in his new team. There is no news about former speaker Om Birla. It has become clear that he is not being made a minister. Now it will be known in a day or two whether he will get any responsibility or not. The decision on the speaker will also be taken in the coming days. The danger for Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and his team is not averted yet from this cabinet of Prime Minister Modi, because caste politics as well as internal factionalism and lack of coordination between the government and the organization are also being cited as the major reasons behind the performance of BJP in Rajasthan. Modi’s new team has given a message to the state leaders that factionalism will not be tolerated.
Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s son Dushyant Singh also not getting a place in the cabinet is being understood as his tuning with Delhi is not right yet. It is clear that the high command has not changed its stand regarding him. This can be a matter of concern for the Raje faction. The interaction between Raje and Dushyant with PM Modi after the parliamentary party meeting suggested a potential reduction in their differences. However, this perception did not translate into reality. Nonetheless, significant organizational changes are anticipated at the national level, which will likely cascade down to Rajasthan. A complete overhaul is expected, starting from the state president onwards. The role Raje will assume in this restructuring remains uncertain.
Simultaneously, changes are expected in the Rajasthan government, although indications suggest that Chief Minister Bhajanlal will remain unaffected. However, adjustments in his team are likely on the horizon.
Raje maintains a distinct faction within Rajasthan politics. Despite her significant popularity, she showed relatively low interest in the general elections, which proved to be detrimental to the party. Delhi is poised to address the ongoing factionalism in Rajasthan.
The decision regarding Raje’s role will be closely observed by stakeholders. She did not get along with the other faction which included Om Birla, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Arun Singh, Chandrashekhar. This faction removed Satish Poonia before the assembly elections and made CP Joshi the president against his wishes. This caused more harm than benefit to the party. One of the reasons for getting fewer seats in the assembly and then the Lok Sabha elections was factionalism. However, Bhajanlal Sharma got the benefit of being in the Birla faction and became the Chief Minister, because the person whom the PM had considered had lost the elections. Then Home Minister Amit Shah gave Bhajanlal Sharma a chance on Birla’s recommendation, but this did not work.
Delhi’s interference and bureaucracy distanced the leaders and workers from the party. The party did not pay attention to social engineering.
Apart from this, social engineering was not given special attention even in Modi 3.0. PM Modi did not take any risk of giving a chance to new faces. Bhagirath Chaudhary has definitely got a place as a new face and the Jat quota was fulfilled by this. In the rest of the states also, the same faces were given a chance, which were considered certain. After the formation of the government in Delhi, the party will get a new national president by June. After JP Nadda takes oath as minister, the acting president will be announced in a day or two. After the announcement of the national president, the party will also do a big operation in Rajasthan and recharge the workers again.
