Harjinder Singh’s murder case has infuriated the people of Bathinda, and the entire city has staged a protest at Hanuman Chowk, confronting Siddhu Moosewala’s father, Balakar Singh, who questioned the government and the system. Balakaur Singh expressed his sorrow over Harjinder Singh’s murder, saying that now, they must avenge the killing. He emphasized the need for stricter laws, similar to those in other states, where murderers should be publicly executed.
Siddhu Moosewala’s father claims he is ready to face any challenge, even if it means putting his life on the line. He pointed out that the government has not taken any action against Lawrence Bishnoi, who appeared on media and revealed details. Balakar Singh demanded a dedicated WhatsApp number to report extortion or threats related to gangsters.
He accused the government of being on the gangsters’ side, and questioned Bhagwant Mann for his alleged ties to David, a gangster. Balakar Singh mentioned Lawrence Bishnoi’s video, which gained immense popularity, but the government has yet to take it down. He also questioned the advisory that media cannot glorify gangsters without reason.
Lawrence’s video has reached millions of views, yet the government has not removed it from the internet. Balakar Singh has pledged to keep raising questions on social media through the debit program run by the Punjab government. He called upon the government to respond.
SP City, Narendra Singh, of Bathinda Police, assured that they are examining CCTV footage and will soon apprehend the suspect. A case under Section 302 has been filed against the accused.
