Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh—Authorities in Bahraich are conducting an intensive search operation to capture wolves that have been terrorizing local communities. Drone visuals from the area show a coordinated effort to locate and capture the remaining wolves. So far, four wolves have been caught, but two are still on the loose.

Late last night, a series of wolf attacks left a three-year-old girl dead and three others injured. The first attack occurred in the Barbigha Hardi PS area, where a wolf attacked a 7-year-old boy and a woman, leaving them with injuries. A second attack was reported in the Mahasi area, where a three-year-old girl was killed, and two other women sustained injuries.

Local residents are on high alert, and authorities have urged them to remain indoors as the search operation continues. The police and wildlife department are working together to ensure the safety of the residents and to capture the remaining wolves as quickly as possible.

CHC In-Charge officials in both Bahraich and Mahasi are coordinating medical assistance for the injured and working closely with local authorities to manage the situation. The community is shaken by the sudden and violent attacks, and efforts are being made to prevent further incidents.

As the search operation progresses, authorities are asking residents to report any sightings of wolves immediately and to take all necessary precautions to protect themselves and their families.
