MUMBAI : Mumbai police have uncovered a baby-selling racket, resulting in the arrest of six women who allegedly sold a newborn for Rs 5 lakh in the city’s eastern suburbs. Acting on a tip-off about a fake nursing home operating in Trombay, officers laid a trap, apprehending two women and rescuing the baby. These two women disclosed the involvement of four others, one posing as a fake doctor.
