MARUTI SUZUKI JIMNY
The much-awaited Maruti Suzuki Jimny made its debut during the motor show in itsnever-before-seen 5-door avatar. The SUV was termed as a spiritual successor to the iconic Maruti Suzuki Gypsy and would become the most affordable 4×4 vehicle in India when it was launched a few months later.

CITROEN C3 AIRCROSS
Rivaling the Elevate was the Citroen C3 Aircross, the most affordable offering in the Compact SUV space. It was the French carmakers’ fourth car in India and the only one in the segment that came with a third row of seats, which could be removed to increase practicality.

TATA SUV RANGE
2023 was a big year for Tata when it came to its SUV range. The Nexon and Nexon EV received much-needed facelifts and got a fresh look while the Harrier and its sibling the Safari too got significant upgrades making them more tech-savvy. However, a Petrol engine still eluded them.

MARUTI SUZUKI BALENO
Another new car from Maruti Suzuki, the Fronx was also first revealed at the Auto Expo in January.The SUV was a crossover version of the popular Baleno hatch and came with multiple engine and gearbox options including a power turbo mill. BMW X1
The BMW X1 in its new generation impressed everyone. The SUV grew in size and stature and got many new features. It came with both petrol and diesel engine options making it a value-for-money offering in the entry luxury segment.

HYUNDAI EXTER
Korean carmaker Hyundai had a busy year launching everything from the new-gen Verna to the flagship Ioniq 5 electric. But it was the Exter micro-SUV, that had the buyers running towards its showrooms. The feature-loaded offering crossed the 1 lakh bookings mark in no time and continues to set the sales charts on fire as we get ready to enter 2024.

Iconic British sportscar maker Lotus made its India debut this year with the Eletre electric SUV. Dubbed as the fastest dual-motor e-SUV in the world, it was loaded with new-age tech and offered the utmost luxury, justifying its Rs. 3 crore price tag.

MERCEDES-BENZ GLC
The Mercedes-Benz GLC arrived in a brand-new generation in India right at the onset of the festive season and garnered instant attention. With a catchy design, multiple drivetrain options, and many new features the SUV became one of the most sought-after luxury cars of 2023.
