The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has been granted the global accreditation certificate for The International Business Agility Model by the International Business Agility Institute (TIBAI). This recognition underscores the effectiveness of the UAE’s health system, showcasing its institutional flexibility and agility. It also acknowledges MoHAP’s proficiency in responding to health changes, anticipating future trends, and managing transformations effectively, further enhancing the UAE’s competitive position in the healthcare sector.
MoHAP received the accreditation by successfully meeting the strategic and operational framework for corporate agility across all its sectors and departments. The achievement reflects exceptional performance across all criteria of the International Business Agility Model, which encompasses 61 criteria and 1500 evaluation points. The model covers various aspects, including future readiness, dynamic capacity building, fostering an agile corporate culture, agile leadership, finance, operations, technology, supply chain, services, and strategic and operational frameworks for future readiness and agility.
Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of MoHAP, emphasized the significance of the achievement and credited it to MoHAP’s strategic approach, which prioritizes agility and institutional flexibility. He highlighted the integrated approach’s role in enabling adaptability to changes and maintaining a state of readiness. Al Olama affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to improving health services’ quality, enhancing resource management efficiency, and achieving excellence in healthcare.
Saqr Al Humeiri, Director of the Strategy and Future Department at the Ministry, emphasized the alignment of this accomplishment with MoHAP’s strategic directions and commitment to applying high-quality standards. The evaluation by TIBAI covered critical areas, including agility in leadership, financial resources, operations, and services, identifying strategic gaps and assessing the Ministry’s capability for quick and flexible decision-making to address challenges and seize future opportunities.
Headquartered in the United Kingdom, TIBAI has developed the first internationally recognized business agility model, designed to enhance future readiness and business agility across various sectors, both public and private.
