Israel Defence Forces: Hamas terrorist tunnel discovered in Shifa Hospital complex

The Shifa Hospital complex in Gaza is home to a terrorist tunnel operated by Hamas, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). IDF soldiers reportedly discovered a second terrorist tunnel inside the Rantisi Hospital. It went on to say that a sizable cache of weapons and ammunition had been discovered in the Al-Quds Hospital.

In a post shared on X, IDF stated, “Exposing another layer of Hamas’ exploitation of three of the largest hospitals in Gaza: Inside the Shifa Hospital complex, a Hamas terrorist tunnel was uncovered.” In another post, it stated, “Inside the Rantisi Hospital, yet another terrorist tunnel was unearthed by IDF troops.”
“The Shaldag SF unit, the 7th Brigade, and additional SF units exposed Hamas’s tunneling infrastructure inside the Shifa Hospital. They also discovered a booby-trapped vehicle that was prepared for the October 7th massacre, containing a large amount of weapons and ammunition,” Israeli Air Force posted on X.

IDF posted images of weapons and ammunition they claimed to have discovered in what they claimed to be the Al-Quds Hospital on X. “A significant quantity of weapons and ammunition were discovered within the Al-Quds Hospital. All of this was discovered in the last day or so, IDF wrote on X. Meanwhile, fighter jets reportedly hit multiple additional Hezbollah locations in southern Lebanon, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). According to The Times of Israel, the IDF claimed that the strikes were carried out in retaliation for attacks on the northern border. Anti-tank guided missiles were fired at several army posts along the border close to the Biranit base and the northern community of Rosh Hanikra, according to the IDF.
