The Times of Israel reports that the terrorist organization Hamas has freed 17 hostages and sent them to Egypt after a protracted standoff. According to reports from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the Red Cross has given these hostages to Egypt. Thirteen Israeli citizens and four Thai nationals are among the hostages, according to the details, as The Times of Israel revealed on Sunday. The hostage-carrying convoy will proceed to the Kerem Shalom crossing, where the list of names will be confirmed by Israeli officials.

“IDF representatives are updating their families regularly,” the IDF adds.
Meanwhile, some of the families of these hostages have begun to identify and confirm the identities of these hostages who are on their way to Israel.
The hostages include a 12-year-old girl named Hila Rotem, who was abducted by Hamas terrorists with her mother, Raya Rotem, 54, who was not released, according to The Times of Israel.

An additional captive At first, it was believed that Emily Hand, 9, was one of the victims of the October 7 attack on Kibbutz Be’eri. Emily was kidnapped while she was spending the night at a friend’s kibbutz house. Noam Or, 17, and Alma Or, 13, along with their father Dror Or, 48, and cousin Liam Or, 18, were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7 from their Kibbutz Be’eri home. Yonat Or, their mother, perished in the attack in the meantime.
