Newly unsealed court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein mention former Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, clarifying that they are not implicated in any wrongdoing tied to the disgraced sex trafficking financier. While Clinton is frequently mentioned, his inclusion revolves around the credibility of a witness who claimed to have seen him as a guest of Epstein during flights on the financier’s private plane.
Donald Trump’s name surfaces in a document quoting Epstein discussing the possibility of inviting the then-real estate mogul to a casino. However, another document reveals a witness denying any solicitation for sexual relations with Trump.
The unsealed documents also list denials from prominent figures like Prince Andrew of Great Britain and lawyer Alan Dershowitz. Dershowitz, addressing the issue on Fox News and social media, emphasized the accuser’s admission of potential misidentification.
Among the released names are sex abuse victims, litigation witnesses, and Epstein associates and employees, many with peripheral connections to the financier. The unsealing of these documents aims to shed light on Epstein’s trafficking network, emphasizing the need for justice for survivors and holding those involved accountable. Sigrid McCawley, one of the attorneys representing Epstein’s accusers, emphasizes the importance of learning more about those who enabled and facilitated Epstein’s crimes to combat sex trafficking effectively.
