Amid rising covid cases, AAP Education Minister Atishi on thursday said that Delhi Government is reviewing the situation and the guidelines will be issued soon.

The Delhi’s  total caseload breached to the 1000 mark, the highest in the seven months with 23.8 per cent positivity rate, according to data shared by the Health department. The national capital logged 1,149 fresh cases and one fatality on Wednesday.

The active cases in delhi stands at 3,347, while the cumulative cases are at 20,17,250. The National Capital witnessed a spurt in the number of fresh Covid infections over the last fortnight amid a sharp rise in H3N2 influenza cases in the country. Covid cases had dropped to zero on January 16, the first time since the outbreak of the pandemic.

Mock drills were conducted at hospitals in Delhi to ascertain preparedness to tackle COVID-19 amid a surge in cases.
