Two fatalities were reported in Charaideo, with one each in Goalpara, Morigaon, Sonitpur, and Tinsukia districts due to the devastating floods. Approximately 2.4 million people across 29 districts have been affected, and floodwaters have submerged 68,768.5 hectares of cropland.
