Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has cornered the Bharatiya Janata Party by sharing the good news of permanent jobs for 5 thousand sanitation workers at MCD. Kejriwal, who will appear for the first time before ED in the alleged liquor scam, said that the BJP was in power in MCD for 15 years, and then only there were reports of corruption. He said his government has uprooted corruption in MCD. Now the employees are getting their salaries on time, and their jobs are also getting confirmed. Kejriwal has to appear before the ED on November 2. However, he has not yet responded to this issue.
Arvind Kejriwal said in the press conference on Wednesday, ‘Today I have come to give good news to you people. It was approved in the MCD meeting yesterday that about 5 thousand sanitation workers will be confirmed. Since our government was formed in January, we have confirmed 6494 employees. Meaning of raw employees who do not know anything about their job. Call today, not tomorrow; I don’t know whether to call for 15 days or 20 days in a month. Don’t know about holidays; don’t get your full salary. The sanitation workers were exploited.
Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal accused the BJP of corruption in MCD and exploitation of sanitation workers. Kejriwal said that there was a BJP government in MCD for 15 years, which left no stone unturned in the exploitation of sanitation workers. He said, ‹Earlier, there were only reports of corruption. There was so much corruption that it was said that employees were not getting salaries. Used to go on strike on the streets. After a lot of hard work, all the employees have started getting their salaries on time. The process of strengthening the sanitation workers has started.

Government will run from Jail: AAP
New Delhi: The Delhi government and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would continue to function even if Arvind Kejriwal is arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on November 2,» stated AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj on Wednesday. The Enforcement Directorate has issued a summons for the AAP supremo to appear on the following day at 11 am, as part of an ongoing money laundering investigation related to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam. On Tuesday, AAP expressed concerns regarding the possibility of Kejriwal›s arrest by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday. Notably, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, both senior AAP leaders, are currently in detention facing similar charges. When asked about the party›s plan of action in the event of Kejriwal›s incarceration, Bhardwaj noted that the senior leadership of the party would determine the future steps.
