Delhi’s chief minister and national convener of AAP, Arvind Kejriwal announced 10 guarantees for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 titled “Kejriwal ki Guarantees,” on Sunday.

These guarantees are generally 10 priority initiatives that must be executed if the INDIA bloc forms the government at the center.

While unveiling the guarantees, Kejriwal announced “Today we are going to announce, ’10 guarantees of Kejriwal for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.”

He further added that these announcements were delayed due to his arrest. Talking about these guarantees, he asserted that these are like guarantees that no one will have issues with.

“This was delayed due to my arrest but there are still many phases of elections left. I have not discussed it with the rest of the INDIA alliance but this is like a guarantee that no one will have any problems with it. I take this guarantee that after the INDIA alliance comes to power, I will make sure that these guarantees are implemented.” said Delhi CM.

Furthermore, he contrasted his party’s assurances with the BJP’s past performance. Asserting “BJP has always failed on its promises; my guarantees have proven track record.”

Later urging the voters, to make a choice between ‘Kejriwal ki Guarantee’ and ‘Modi Guarantee’.

What are the 10 guarantees offered by Kejriwal?

1. Uninterrupted Supply of Electricity 24/7 up to 200 units free for poor household nationwide.
2. Improve Education’s quality. Making Free Education accessible to all. Promising to repeat the success of government schools in Delhi and Punjab. Making the allocation of Rs 5 lakh crore, sourced from both state and central governments.
3. Improve Healthcare. Establish Mohalla clinics at every village. Promise to convert district hospital into multispecialty facilities. Followed by free treatment, thus rejecting insurance-based models.
4. Get Back the Land occupied By China through diplomatic efforts and military empowerment.
5. Remove Agniveer Scheme, due to its impact on the army and youth.
6. Implement Swaminathan Commission’s recommendation. Promising fixing of MSP on all crops and make sure, that farmers get full price of their produce
7. Granting Full Statehood To Delhi
8.  Remove unemployment by giving 2 crore jobs within next year.
9. Finish Corruption, striving to dismantle BJP’s alleged “washing machine”
10. Finish GST’s Impact by removing from PMLA law.

Later, Kejriwal queried about PM’s retirement plans saying that he allegedly said that leaders of BJP will retire after 75 years.

“The same rule as per which LK Advani ji was made to retire, I’m sure the PM will not stop it from being implemented in his case as well… let the PM say that this rule does not apply to me, that it was made for Advani ji. I don’t think the PM will say this,” said Kejriwal.
