Director Vinay Bhardwaj is preparing to launch a new film titled ‘Hukus Bukus,’ featuring a cast that includes Darsheel Safary, Arun Govil, Gautam Singh Vig, Vashu Jain and Naisha Khanna.
While discussing his thoughts on the film with ANI, Arun Govil said in a statement that the name seems unusual to all of us, but it is a word of the Kashmiri language, and its basic meaning is that there is a lullaby that is sung there; it is a spiritual lullaby in which it talks about the relationship between God and man. So, this film is also about a relationship between a god and a human being, and a film has been made about it.
Darsheel Safary, the well-known actor from Taare Zameen Par, stated that he took a break to focus on his academics and polish his skills. He then joined a theater and has been performing for seven or eight years. Additionally, he stated, “The character I’m portraying in this film, Arjun, is an ardent Sachin Tendulkar fan. I’m also a Sachin Tendulkar fan. I can’t express how much I follow cricket; it’s all thanks to my father. When they approached me for this film set in Kashmir, I made it clear that I didn’t want any controversial or political angles involved.”
Vinay Bhardwaj, the director, described the film’s essence, emphasizing the importance of understanding family dynamics. He added, “It is a story based on relationships. It is very important to understand the relationships within the family. Nowadays, there are a lot of problems going on outside. If everything at home is okay, then only we will be able to handle the problems outside.”
‘Hukus Bukus’ delves into the confluence of cricket and spirituality, with the picturesque backdrop of Kashmir. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on November 3, 2023.
