‘Elaan 2023’ provides platform to showcase talent

‘Elaan 2023’ an inter-university festival was celebrated with great fervour on the 14 and 15 April 2023. Around 750 students participated in the event. In this event along with Apeejay Stya University and Delhi University other universities also took part. Chief guest Dr B.S. Sekhon, Joint secretary (YS & Sports) joined the program and inaugurated the event.
Then welcome tea was served followed by lamp lighting. Ganesh Vandana (classical dance performance by national winner) was then performed. Screening of a short film ‘Journey of a Leader’ was performed. Then the program was followed by tabla performance (national winner), honouring of National Youth Festival winners was done along with memento presentation. Opening as well as inauguration of ‘ELAAN 2023’ was done by the Vice Chancellor which gave pace to the program. After this a campus round, Swar manthan (solo singing competition) was held. After the break there was Elocution, debate, Nukkar Natak. Then there was a performance by Haridas followed by Indian / western instrumental competition. At last there was a fashion show which concluded the day of 14th April. This year’s main attraction featured renowned pop singer Anadi Mishra doing his live performance which was organised on 15th April. This program was lined up with amazing and powerful performances of dance, music, theater, fashion show and many more breathtaking programs. This fest is mainly focused to give students a platform to showcase their talent and ability.
