The curator of the show Meenakshi Jha Banerjee is an artist and painter based in Delhi now. This is her first show as a curator after the pandemic. Her experimentation with the traditional elements of Mithila has evolved as a signature style of her own where the feelings, emotions, elements, intricacies and tradition merge into current subjects, modern medium and contemporary skill sets. Minute and intricate detailing besides multiple layering is the essence of her palate and mood. Her work has a dimension of her research based collection of human interactions and humanistic interfaces.

In a candid conversation curator Meenakshi Jha Banerjee said, “We the seekers of art, always long for seeing a lot in various states. We must see the last moment of the flower blossoming, we must listen to that peak of the rising tone, where one note fades into the next. One such sublime intersection in nature is the autumn. Arrival of autumn is that beautiful time of the year when summer is just over, the sky is clear, the leaves change from green to incredible bright colours, marigolds gather richer tones and the air is full of music. Come September is all about this.
