The individual who threatened and placed a fake bomb in a private school has been arrested by the police. Investigations have revealed that the person, identified as Jagmeet Singh from Anand Nagar Extension, Malud, had attempted to establish a friendship with the school’s teacher.
When the teacher refused, the individual sent threatening letters under the guise of Khalistani affiliation and even placed a fake bomb in the school’s ground. Confirming this, SP Muhammad Sarfaraz Alam stated that the suspect Jagmeet Singh Vasi has been arrested after registering a case at Tripari Police Station.
According to information, an anonymous threatening letter was sent to the private school in August. The letter threatened to blow up the school with a bomb and was accompanied by the placement of a fake/dummy bomb in the school’s ground. DSP Jaswinder Singh Tiwana led a team under SHO Tripari Inspector Pradeep Singh Bajwa to initiate an investigation. Police teams, including in civilian attire, began monitoring the school and its surroundings through CCTV cameras. During the investigation, it was revealed that an individual repeatedly placed threatening letters in branches surrounding the school in a very cunning manner. These letters contained propaganda related to Khalistan and threatened to harm the school and its teachers.
