JAIPUR: In the state, the audacity of drug traffickers has risen to the point where they are not even afraid to shoot at the police. Such an incident came to light on Sunday in Jhalawar’s Dag Police Station. However, no police officer was injured in the firing. According to Police Superintendent (Jhalawar) Richa Tomar, in an operation carried out to apprehend drug traffickers, the police team cornered notorious smuggler Kaf Khan, a resident of Ghatakheri village, on Sunday. Seeing the police, Khan opened fire and fled by breaking a wall of the house. The police team chased him and finally apprehended him. With the arrest of the smuggler, the police seized a pistol and three cartridges.
