Andhra Pradesh’s school education department has postponed the 2024 AP teacher eligibility test.

Initially scheduled from August 5 to 20, the exam will now be held between October 3rd to 20th 2024.

But the application window still remains open, and candidates can still register for the examination between July 3rd and August 3rd.

The Schedule Of AP TET 2024

Date of Notification: July 2nd, 2024.

When To Pay: July 3rd To August 3rd, 2024.

Mock Tests: Will Start from September 19th, 2024

Availability Of AP TET Hall Ticket: September 22, 2024

Date: October 3rd – 20th, 2024

Release Of Answer Key: From October 4th (day after each exam).

Release Of Final Answer Key: October 27th, 2024

Results: November 2, 2024

Additional Details:

Fee: Rs.750 for paper of 1A, 1B, 2A and 2B each.

Passing Marks: It varies and depends on candidate’s category. For Open Category, 60%. For BC Category and for SC, ST, PH (differently abled) & ex-servicemen category- it is respectively 50% and 40%.

Weightage of The Exam:  20 percent weightage is given to AP TET score and 80 percent weightage is given to respective recruitment exam, while hiring teachers.

Is The Certificate of AP TET Valid?

Yes, the certificate of AP TET will be valid throughout Life.

The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Exam is conducted for aspiring teachers for recruiting them in state government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality & AP model schools, Residential schools, welfare society schools, private schools (aided) and private un-aided schools for 1 to 8th grade.
