Another date for Ram temple ‘bhoomi pujan’ sent to PM

Another date for bhoomi pujan for construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya has been sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to the sources at Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Nyas, the invitation sent to the Prime Minister mentions the muhurta of Shravani Purnima (Raksha Bandhan), over which the PMO has to give information on PM Modi’s availability for the date.

 A member of the Trust said that an invitation has been sent to the Prime Minister on their behalf. By then, they hope the effect of the pandemic would have decreased significantly. If there is any practical or technical bottleneck, then muhurta of Anant Chaturdashi is also an option.

Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, president of the Ram Mandir Trust, wrote a letter to PM Modi for the visit to Ayodhya. The trust chairman also wrote that Modi should come to Ayodhya and lay the foundation for the Ram temple construction, not by virtual medium or video conferencing.

A meeting of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is slated to take place in Ayodhya on 18 July. Information about the meeting has been sent to members of the Trust.

This meeting will mainly discuss topics which are directly related to the construction of the temple. For instance, how much work has been done in the campus so far, when and how to start work on the plan ahead, assessment of financial condition and some other issues have been kept on the agenda.

In the meeting of the Trust, it will be considered to include some more experts and architects in the temple building construction committee. The meeting will be held in the Ram Janmabhoomi campus on 18July in three sessions from morning to evening.

On 1 July, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had written a letter to PM Modi in this regard. Preparations for a grand ceremony will start after a go ahead from the P M . T o make this historic moment and celebrations memorable, there will be a vigorous exercise to brand the event and ensure everyone’s enthusiastic participation.

On 25 May, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, president of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and Ram Janambhoomi Nyas, told The Daily Guardian: “We have come to see Ram Janmabhoomi. The court of Ramlala is a very sacred place. Everyone should come here to visit. The work of construction of Ram Janmabhoomi has also started with newly installed machines doing their work. Construction work will take time now.”
