Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are gearing up for their upcoming wedding with a series of celebratory events. The latest was their traditional Mameru ceremony held at Antilia, the Ambani residence in Mumbai, coinciding with the 85th birthday of Nita Ambani’s mother, Purnima Dalal.
Reflecting their Gujarati heritage, Nita Ambani and other female members of the Ambani family adorned themselves in elegant Bandhani saris and lehengas. Nita Ambani wore a vibrant pink sari adorned with broad golden zari work and intricate motifs on the borders. Her ensemble included a traditional draped pallu and an ombre blouse in shades of pink, gold, and orange.
Adding a playful touch to her attire was a stunning diamond necklace featuring a large emerald-studded centerpiece, cleverly shaped to resemble the cartoon character Mickey Mouse.
Nita’s accessories included matching diamond earrings, two diamond kadas, and subtle makeup that complemented her naturally wavy hair.
Known for her impeccable sense of style, Nita Ambani has previously made headlines for her fashion choices, including wearing a red silk Benarasi sari with the gayatri mantra printed on its pallu at a recent mass wedding organized by the Ambani family.
Radhika Merchant, soon to be part of the Ambani family, also embraced traditional elegance in a rani pink Bandhani lehenga designed by Manish Malhotra. Her ensemble featured borders embroidered with shlokas dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga Ma.
