Newlyweds Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were warmly received in Gujarat’s Jamnagar during their first visit after marriage. They were greeted with a massive crowd, flower petals, aarti, and a rose carpet upon their arrival on Wednesday.
Several videos and photos emerged online, showing the residents of Jamnagar greeting Anant and Radhika Merchant with heartfelt hospitality. In one video, women in sarees performed aarti and showered the couple with rose petals. Both Anant and Radhika appeared joyful, greeting the crowd with folded hands.

Another video depicted the couple smiling and greeting people from their car as they arrived. A large crowd gathered on the streets, showering them with flower petals. Radhika wore a pink suit, while Anant donned a red kurta with a matching ethnic jacket.
In another video, the road outside the airport was covered with rose petals in anticipation of their arrival, with several people playing drums. Jamnagar holds special significance for Anant and Radhika.

The pre-wedding functions for Anant and Radhika were held in Jamnagar in March 2024. Anant’s grandmother, Kokilaben Ambani, was born in Jamnagar, which is also where his grandfather Dhirubhai Ambani and father Mukesh Ambani began their business.
