The inauguration of a new Vande Bharat Express train service between Amritsar and New Delhi is set for December 30th. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this train along with six other Vande Bharat trains. Notably, this will be the first Vande Bharat train originating from Punjab, making halts at both Jalandhar and Ludhiana main stations. Departing from Amritsar at 8:30 AM, the train will reach Jalandhar at 9:26 AM, Ludhiana at 10:16 AM, Ambala at 11:34 AM, and arrive at Purani Delhi Railway Station at 1:50 PM.
Similarly, the return journey will depart from Purani Delhi Railway Station at 3:15 PM, arriving at Amritsar at 8:35 PM via Ludhiana at 6:36 PM aand Jalandhar at 7:26 PM. There will be a two-minute stoppage at all stations during the commute.
Prime Minister Modi might unveil the flag for the Amritsar-New Delhi Vande Bharat train along with other trains connecting Ayodhya-New Delhi, Darbhanga-New Delhi, Vaishno Devi-Delhi, Coimbatore-Bengaluru, and Jalna-Mumbai.
