Rumours about Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s separation have been circulating online. In response, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek’s father, posted a cryptic message on his blog. He said, “There is no shortage of fools and dim-witted people in this world; they try to hide their own misdeeds by writing about others. Idiots and those with limited brain – never a dearth of such in this World; they make and print their own imbecile fakes each day to hide their own personal, brainless, half-witted deficiencies.”
Amitabh also posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account, stating: “T 5216 – People, who find their own meaning in every word, hide the misfortune of their personal life.” This left many confused, with some speculating that it was linked to the growing rumours about Abhishek and Aishwarya’s relationship.

This is not the first time Amitabh has made cryptic posts. Earlier, he shared a terse message on X that simply read “Chup” (quiet), accompanied by an angry emoji. This has further fueled the speculation.
The rumours gained strength when Abhishek and Aishwarya arrived separately at a high-profile wedding in July. The situation worsened when Abhishek liked an Instagram post about “grey divorces,” which discussed why couples in long marriages are choosing to separate. The post posed the question, “What has prompted their decision and why are grey divorces on the rise?”
Abhishek and Aishwarya tied the knot in April 2007, and in November 2011, they welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. Despite the ongoing rumours, the couple has not confirmed or denied the reports of their separation.
