Akhilesh Yadav, Former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and National President of Samajwadi Party has predicted that his party will win Mainpuri by-elections.
Speaking to the media on Monday, Akhilesh Yadav said, “I hope BJP will have a massive defeat in Gujarat… I believe SP will get a good number of votes in Mainpuri byelections, people will vote for us… BJP must allow the central agencies (Election Commission) to operate freely, BJP is misusing them.”
Akhilesh further claimed that SP will Win the Mainpuri elections and BJP would lose in Gujarat.
Despite asserting that he has won the Mainpuri seat, Akhilesh Yadav is simultaneously criticising the government and the administration due to the fierce opposition from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
In the Mainpuri by-election, according to Akhilesh, it appears like the Bharatiya Janata Party is not running; rather, the government and the administration are working to help the BJP win.
In honour of the late Mulayam Singh Yadav, the whole Yadav family, including Akhilesh Yadav, urged voters to support the Samajwadi Party.
Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away on October 10 of this year.
Although the vote percentage is not yet sufficiently encouraging, Akhilesh Yadav claimed that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the populace and that the vote percentage would be good.
20.25% of voters were registered in Mainpuri as of 11 a.m.
Following the passing of the incumbent MP and former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mulayam Singh Yadav, voting was mandated in the Mainpuri Lok Sabha constituency. His daughter-in-law and Akhilesh Yadav’s wife, Dimple Yadav, is running for the party. She is up against Raghuraj Singh Shakya, a former member of the BJP.
