On October 15, Air India Express’s Jaipur-Ayodhya flight received a bomb threat through social media, but it landed as scheduled. The flight, carrying 130 passengers, was safely evacuated upon arrival at Ayodhya Airport, where standard operating procedures (SOPs) were implemented in response to the threat.

This incident follows a day after a hoax bomb threat affected three international flights. One flight, Air India’s Mumbai-New York route, was diverted to Delhi due to a security concern related to a bomb threat. According to DCP IGI Usha Rangnani, all standard safety protocols were strictly followed to ensure the safety of passengers and crew on board.

The three affected flights included Air India flight AI 119, which was diverted to Delhi, and two IndiGo flights: Mumbai-Muscat (6E1275) and Mumbai-Jeddah (6E56). Aviation security officials confirmed that these threats turned out to be hoaxes.
