Actor Kriti Kharbanda, who tied the knot with Pulkit Samrat earlier this month in the presence of their family and close friends, has now shared glimpses of her first cooking experience after a grand ‘griha pravesh’ ceremony.
In her Instagram stories, Kriti shared several pictures of herself garnishing a dessert with dry fruits. She also posted an image of the finished sweet dish, captioning it “Meri pehli rasoi.” Additionally, she mentioned that her grandmother approved of the halwa she prepared.
Following their wedding celebrations, the couple returned to their Delhi home and joyously danced to the beats of the dhol during their ‘griha pravesh’ ritual. Pulkit whistled while dancing with his wife, both adorned in traditional attire – Pulkit in a kurta and dhoti, and Kriti in a saree.
The couple also shared adorable pictures from their wedding day, captioning one with heartfelt words expressing their love for each other.
For their wedding, Kriti wore a stunning pink lehenga while Pulkit donned a mint green sherwani. Pictures captured moments of affection between the couple, with Kriti planting a kiss on Pulkit’s forehead and Pulkit tying the Mangalsutra around her neck.
Their posts quickly garnered congratulatory messages from friends and fans alike, including actors Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Richa Chadha.
Kriti and Pulkit have appeared together in several films such as ‘Veerey Ki Wedding’, ‘Taish’, and ‘Pagalpanti’. Pulkit was previously married to Shweta Rohira.
Speculations about their wedding arose after the duo shared similar pictures on Valentine’s Day from their romantic getaway, hinting at their March wedding plans.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Pulkit recently appeared in the third installment of ‘Fukrey’ and had a brief role in Zoya Akhtar’s web show ‘Made in Heaven Season 2’. Kriti is preparing for the release of her upcoming movie, ‘Risky Romeo’, scheduled for May 2024.
