Sima Noorzadeh, an Afghan businesswoman, has given many women in her country more options for employment despite the Taliban’s tight limitations since gaining control of the country.
Sima Noorzadeh revealed to Khaama Press News Agency that she established an organization for marriage ceremonies in Afghanistan seven years ago with a group of women. Even though there is a high demand for women’s services and increased restrictions on their employment, she has given countless girls employment opportunities.

Noorzadeh claims that recent restrictions and unemployment are the cause of psychological issues among women. According to her, addressing women’s unemployment not only relieves the emotional suffering of millions of individuals but also increases society’s overall prosperity, according to Khaama Press.

According to Richard Bennett, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights for Afghanistan, who made this assertion before the 54th session of the Human Rights Council recently in Geneva, more than 60,000 women have lost their jobs as a result of Afghanistan’s restrictions on women.

According to Khaama Press, a recent survey by Care International found that an astonishing 80% of Afghan girls and young women of school age are currently denied access to education under the Taliban administration in Afghanistan.
In Afghanistan, girls in grades six and above are no longer permitted to attend schools, and it is unknown when those doors will reopen.
