In the relentless campaign against corruption in Rajasthan, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has achieved noteworthy success in the Kota district. In a recent operation at Kota MBS Hospital, the ACB team apprehended Senior Nursing Officer Mansoor Ali, who was caught accepting a bribe of 10,000 rupees. This action underscores the state government’s commitment to zero tolerance for corruption, aligning with its consistent message against such malpractices.
Mansoor Ali, serving as the Workshop Incharge at the hospital, had allegedly demanded the bribe to facilitate the processing of bills for himself and two others, identified as contractors Manish Pal and Account Officer Rohit Dixit. The accused had solicited 15,000 rupees for his role in the matter, having already received 5,000 rupees the day before. The ACB team, acting on a complaint filed at the Kota ACB station, swiftly conducted a trap operation upon verifying the details.
Additional SP Anti-Corruption Bureau Kota, Vijay Swarnakar, confirmed that the complainant, a supplier of machines and maintenance tenders to the hospital, reported the bribe demand by Mansoor Ali. The trap operation resulted in the arrest of Mansoor Ali, who is currently undergoing interrogation. The investigation is ongoing, focusing on the involvement of Babu Manish Pal and Account Officer Rohit Dixit in the bribery case.
The ACB’s proactive stance against corruption continues to send a strong message, reinforcing the government’s commitment to maintaining integrity within its institutions. The arrested nursing officer will face legal proceedings as the investigation unfolds.
