The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has initiated a protest march to the BJP headquarters in Delhi, prompting significant security measures. DCP Central, Delhi Police, Harshavardhan, outlined the arrangements for the AAP protest, highlighting the precautions taken due to the march’s sensitive location.

“The road has offices of many political parties and important government installations and hence we have imposed Section 144. We have made adequate arrangements, multi-level barricading and we will ensure proper maintenance of law and order. They (AAP) didn’t seek permission, such kind of permissions are not given. Election is going on, the codes are in place,” said Harshavardhan.

The AAP protest has raised concerns about potential disruptions in the area, which houses various political offices and government buildings. Despite the lack of official permission for the protest, the AAP Party proceeded with their demonstration, leading to the enforcement of strict security protocols by the Delhi Police.

Multi-level barricading has been put in place to manage the crowd and maintain order during the protest. The police have emphasized their commitment to ensuring law and order, given the march’s proximity to crucial installations and the ongoing election codes.
