Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced the names of 12 more candidates fo the upcoming 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections on Sunday.

It is the fifth list of candidates from the AAP. The party ran Rajesh Pandoriya in the Bhuj district, Jayantibhai Parnami in the Idar district, and Ashok Gajera in the Nikol district. Sanjay Bhatasna received the ticket from Tankara, while Jasvant Thakor received the ticket from Sabarmati. Furthermore, Kodina, Mahudha, and Balasinor constituencies are represented by Valjibhai Makwana, Ravjibhai Somabhai Vaghela, and Udeysinh Chauhan, respectively.
Anil Garasiya of Jhalod and Banabhai Damor of Morva Hadaf have been given the field. AAP put Chaitar Vasava on the ballot for the Dediapada constituency. AAP candidate from Vyara is Bipin Choudhary.

Name of 53 candidates has been announced by AAP for the Gujarat polls so far.

Elections for the 182-member Gujarat Assembly will be held later this year.
For the past 24 years, the BJP has controlled government in Gujarat. For 12 years and 227 days, Prime Minister Narendra Modi served as the chief minister. Prior to him, Keshubhai Patel served as the state’s chief executive for 216 days. Anandiben Patel, Vijay Rupani, and the current chief minister Bhupendra Patel came after Modi.
Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National leader, is leading the party’s campaign with all of its power this year, which has turned the election into a triangular one.
The Gujarat Assembly’s current term expires on February 18, 2023.
