The Daily Guardian has accessed the report of intelligence agencies which has been sent to the Union Home Ministry. The report suggests that terrorists present in the Valley are in the process of carrying out major attacks on security forces’ “naka”, security forces’ convoys, security forces’ pickets as well as security forces’ installations. There is no concrete information about them. The security forces are investigating through various means whether they joined the terrorist organisation or not. The involvement of local youths in terrorist outfits is a matter of concern for the security agencies.

The most dangerous areas in the region are Hef Sharimal in Shopian district, Sambura, Lilahar, Pulwama town and Tral in Pulwama district.
