In a major breakthrough against Pakistan’s nefarious designs, Indian agencies have busted the ISI’s plan to send weapons, including 120-140 M4 American sniper guns, to Kashmir Valley via drones. This was revealed in a conversation among terrorists, intercepted by the agencies. This hideous act was being operated by Brigadier-rank officers with the help of Pakistan Air Force officers and the control room was named Control Room 40.

The intelligence agency has said in its report that the places from which Pakistan was trying to send weapons to carry out terror operations in India are Hira Nagar, Rajouri, Poonch, Uri, Arnia, Ramgarh sector, Tangdhar, Machil sector and Gurez sector.

On 20 June, an M4 sniper gun was sent by drone from Pakistan to Pansar in Jammu. The drone was shot down by BSF personnel. Later, the Home Ministry responded seriously to the matter and handed over the investigation to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Deadly weapons like M-4 sniper carbines are being sent so that instead of carrying out suicide attacks, the terrorists can strike from a safe distance, save themselves and inflict maximum damage on the security forces. Under this strategy, the Pakistan Army snipers are active on the border, while those trained to operate sniper rifles in Jammu and Kashmir are looking for opportunities to plan a terrorist attack.

Pakistan has been constantly trying to infiltrate terrorists into the border and has violated ceasefire more than 2,200 times this year. Intelligence Bureau sources told The Daily Guardian that the neighbouring country was eyeing to infiltrate 60-70 terrorists in India. They are being trained to use sniper and their transit camp is in Afghanistan which is about 90 km from Sawai Nala and Dudhaniyal is their launch pad. Some code words have also been created and security agencies have been put on high alert along the border.

More than 120 terrorists have been killed in Kashmir since January. The way in which India is eliminating terrorists one after another in the Valley has alarmed the Pakistani Army and the ISI and therefore, they want to harm India at any cost, sources said.
