On August 4, 2025, Canada unveiled North America’s tallest Lord Ram statue, a 51-foot marvel, at the Hindu Heritage Centre in Mississauga, Ontario
Standing atop a 7-foot pedestal, the statue represents Sanatan Dharma’s spiritual strength and cultural pride. Crafted in Delhi, it blends tradition with modern engineering
Made of fibreglass and steel, the statue can withstand 200 km/h winds and is designed to last over a century — a true legacy piece
Funded by Indo-Canadian philanthropist Laj Prasher, the statue was assembled by artisans in Canada, reflecting the unity of Indian craftsmanship and Canadian multiculturalism
Thousands gathered as Canadian ministers and dignitaries praised the installation. MP Maninder Sidhu greeted the crowd with a spirited “Jai Shri Ram”
India’s Acting Consul General Kapidhwaja Pratap Singh and Acharya Surinder Sharma Shastri blessed the occasion, calling the idol a spiritual gift to the community
The statue stands in the flight path to Toronto Pearson Airport. Travelers flying in will be greeted by Lord Ram from the skies
Echoing the 2024 Ram Mandir consecration in Ayodhya, this installation brings the spirit of divine righteousness to North America’s multicultural heart
“This is more than faith — it’s a celebration of cultural harmony,” said organiser Kushagr Sharma. Lord Ram now stands tall as a beacon of dharma
