Moments from Donald Trump’s inauguration day were a mix of awkwardness and humor, widely shared through pictures and videos floating online. This is one where outgoing US President Joe Biden offers an impromptu prayer just minutes before Trump begins his oath-taking.

Senator Amy Klobuchar in the video makes an announcement stating that Trump and Vice President-elect Vance have arrived for the inauguration. “Good morning, everyone. Welcome to the 60th presidential inauguration. Today, President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect Vance will take their oaths of office. We will witness the peaceful transfer of power at the heart of our democracy,” she declared.

As the camera pans to former presidents and their spouses seated behind the podium, viewers catch a glimpse of Biden bowing his head in prayer while the audience applauds the senator’s words.

The clip, posted on X captioned, “OMG wait until you see it—it’s hilarious,” left watchers to fill up the comments with reactions after they watched. Another quipped with, “The man said, ‘May the odds be ever in your favor, America!'” A fan commented, “Just when I thought I could not love him any more! God bless you, Joe, and thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

Yet another user humorously noted, “The way you can see the exact moment he thought of doing it too.”

Still, it wasn’t only Biden who got a little emotional in the ceremony. Hillary Clinton, Trump’s former rival, just couldn’t keep straight face when he proposed naming the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America.
