Donald Trump is to celebrate his historic return to the White House with a “Make America Great Again Victory Rally” in Washington, D.C., on Sunday. Over 20,000 supporters will attend the rally at Capital One Arena, the same venue that hosted his Madison Square Garden rally in New York City last October.
That rally was his last appeal to voters before Election Day in November. Sunday’s event is meant to pay tribute to the important role large-scale rallies have played in Trump’s three presidential campaigns, energizing his base and carrying that momentum into his second-term presidency.
