As Donald Trump prepares to take the oath of office for his second term as the 47th President of the United States, a massive bronze statue of the Republican leader has been unveiled in Ohio. Created by artist Alan Cottrill, the statue stands at an impressive 15 feet tall and is titled “The Patriot Statue of Donald J. Trump.” This monumental sculpture captures a pivotal moment from July 13, when Trump triumphantly pumped his fist after surviving an assassination attempt during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The statue, valued at $1 million, is set to tour the country before being permanently displayed at a future Trump presidential library.
A Tribute from the Crypto Community
The Bronze Statue was commissioned by a group of wealthy cryptocurrency investors, who are hoping Trump will be a supportive ally to their industry. The project was a collaborative effort, with the Patriot Token, a crypto community, proudly sharing their excitement. “We’re so proud of the statue, which turned out exactly as planned and is truly fit to match the man it’s dedicated to!” the group shared on social media. The statue, weighing six tons, was commissioned just a week after Trump’s shooting incident, and it will soon be unveiled at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. From there, it will embark on a national tour.

Trump’s Enthusiastic Fan Base
Brock Pierce, a crypto-billionaire who contributed to funding the project, expressed confidence in the statue’s ability to attract visitors. “People will be making a pilgrimage to see this,” he said. “Trump has a fan base that I don’t think we’ve seen in a politician in a very long time.” The investors also hinted that Trump might appear with the statue at some point during the inauguration festivities.
Trump’s Inaugural Day
Along with the Bronze Statue unveiling, Trump’s second inauguration on January 20 will be a significant event. The President-elect, who won a decisive victory over outgoing Vice President Kamala Harris, will be formally sworn into office. JD Vance, the new Vice President-elect, will take his oath as well. Inauguration Day will be a grand affair, with a formal ceremony, musical performances, a celebratory parade, and several formal balls marking the occasion.
