Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and his actress girlfriend Dakota Johnson visited a Lord Shiva temple in Mumbai, before their highly anticipated music tour in India. A viral video captured the two whispering their wishes into the Nandi statue at the temple, a ritual often observed by devotees.

Coldplay’s India fan page shared the video on Instagram with the caption, “Dakota whispering her wish!”

Coldplay’s Mumbai Concerts Kick Off

On January 17, Chris Martin shared a scenic photo from Marine Drive on social media, expressing gratitude and excitement. Official account of Coldplay on X (formerly Twitter) posted a cheerful image of Martin in casual attire, captioning it, “We are so happy and grateful to be here in India.”

 


The concerts will take place over three days January 18, 19, and 21, at DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The band will then travel to Ahmedabad after their performances in Mumbai. In Ahmedabad they will perform at Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26.

Martin has given hits like Fix You and A Sky Full of Stars. He arrived in Mumbai with Dakota Johnson on January 16. Fans caught a glimpse of the couple exiting the airport, creating a buzz for the concerts that are going to take place.

Special Train Arrangements for Concertgoers

Organizers have planned suburban local trains under the Full Tariff Rate (FTR) system to facilitate fans traveling to and from DY Patil Stadium. The trains will run between Goregaon and Nerul stations of Navi Mumbai for the concert days.

Key Train Information:

January 18 and 19: Goregaon at 2:00 PM reaches Nerul at 3:23 PM. Return trains leave from Nerul at 11:04 PM, arriving at Goregaon at 12:30 AM.

January 21: Trains depart Goregaon at 2:50 PM, reach Nerul by 6:18 PM. Return trains leave Nerul at 10:50 PM, arrive at Goregaon at 12:15 AM.

The trains will stop at Bandra, Andheri, Wadala Road, Chembur, and Jainagar stations in both directions.
